I feel like this week has flown by (and I\u2019m not complaining). Today\u2019s topic is a request from one of my fabulous readers.<\/p>\n<p>As temperatures start to creep up and flowers bloom, I have pretty much added white jeans to my weekly wardrobe. So the question is, can you wear white <em>before<\/em> <em>Memorial Day<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p>First, let me start by saying all opinions are of my own. I am not the fashion police, and all my thoughts are subject to interpretation.<\/p>\n<p>But, the answer is <strong>YES<\/strong>! Fashion breaks rules all the time, and that rule is beyond out of date. <em>For me<\/em>, once it hits above 55 degrees or the weather calls for it, I don\u2019t care what month it is! The white pants will come out to play!<\/p>\n<p>I am aware it is easier for me to \u201cget away\u201d with wearing white since I live in North Carolina. But, it <em>doesn\u2019t matter what geographic area you live in<\/em>. Wearing white in all months can add a crisp, bright look if worn correctly. After all, the time of year shouldn\u2019t dictate your wardrobe schedule.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-395\" src=\"http:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b17-755x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"All White Outfit \" width=\"755\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b17-755x1024.jpeg 755w, https:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b17-221x300.jpeg 221w, https:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b17-768x1042.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b17.jpeg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 755px) 100vw, 755px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>How to Wear White<\/h4>\n<p>If you are still experiencing bipolar weather (<em>New England, I\u2019m looking at you<\/em>), then you may want to subtly add white into your outfit mix. I would start with white jeans as a base, and pair it with a navy blazer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddressboutique.com\/collections\/jackets\/products\/same-to-you-smoke-grey-reversible-jacket\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">light jacket<\/a> or darker colored top. You do not have to jump right into the pastel colors. If it is snowing in your state, then a flowered blouse with white pants probably wouldn&#8217;t make sense. Instead, you can wear it with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddressboutique.com\/collections\/sweaters\/products\/cant-deny-this-pink-sweater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spring sweater,<\/a>\u00a0or your favorite flannel.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-396\" src=\"http:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b15-756x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"White on White for Spring\" width=\"756\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b15-756x1024.jpeg 756w, https:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b15-222x300.jpeg 222w, https:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b15-768x1040.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/smiledarlingblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fullsizeoutput_3b15.jpeg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 756px) 100vw, 756px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>All White Outfit<\/h4>\n<p>If you are ready to take the plunge and wear an all white ensemble, here are 3 tips to make it flow this time of year!<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Layering is key in early spring. To balance out an all white outfit, layer with a denim jacket, cute <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddressboutique.com\/collections\/cardigans\/products\/just-have-fun-orange-multi-cardigan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cardigan<\/a> or blazer!<\/li>\n<li>Add a pop of color! Whether it&#8217;s in your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddressboutique.com\/products\/bold-streak-royal-blue-tassel-earrings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jewelry<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shopimpressions.com\/collections\/shoes-wedges\/products\/the-laguna-beach-wedge-in-hot-pink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shoes<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/shopstyle.it\/l\/EzdE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bag<\/a>\u00a0it will help break-up the look.<\/li>\n<li>Adding texture can help separate an all white look. Think ruffles, an <a href=\"http:\/\/us.shein.com\/Fluted-Sleeve-Eyelet-Embroidered-Top-p-371720-cat-1733.html?url_from=adplablouse170711451S&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjwkpfWBRDZARIsAAfeXaqTlJY6X-N_oHUcNRrLCm9bDMqoYc_75fdDt0aQ5tMD_45ls-mh9ikaAj0vEALw_wcB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eyelet top<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dottiecouture.com\/dusty-mauve-twist-back-thermal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thermal<\/a>, and lace.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>I enjoy wearing white pants with colorful tops, I think it makes the white really stand out. I also like to pair it with neutral tones, which is what I have done in pictures throughout.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the day babes, fashion is not fluid. It is open for interpretation. Do what makes you feel comfortable. Whether it&#8217;s white jeans and a darker top, or you&#8217;re ready to frolic in an all white dress, be YOU!
